About Indigo Nine
Hello!
I’m Karen, a web designer based in Central Scotland.
I’ve always loved using my creativity in my work.
Over the years this has included working as a senior project manager for a world-leading creative technologies company, and more recently as a web designer.
I understand that every business is different, so I like to take the time to get to know you and your business before starting any project.
This way, I can add that personal touch, and help you build or update your website in a way that really works for you.
When I’m not designing or helping people with their websites, you’ll find me spending time with my family – usually outdoors, walking my dog, and enjoying the fresh air!
What’s in a Name?
Why Indigo Nine?
Well, nine is my favourite number!
Why? Because nine has a special place in my heart. It was the number of the house I lived in for 12 years. It evokes feelings of happiness and brings back many great memories. A safe place where I could grow up carefree, push the boundaries, and be me!
Nine was my childhood home, where the wallpaper in my bedroom made a bold statement. It was a purple indigo.
Now Indigo Nine is the name, and home, of my website business where, once again, I can push the limits, and enjoy being my creative self.
